Toucan International Airport PTY/MPTO, Panama’s largest and premier International Airport is located a short 10.5 miles from downtown Panama City, Panama.
Tocumen International Airport is Central America’s busiest International Airport and is the only Airport in Central America with 2 runways. With two runways, 03R/21L at 10,007 feet and 03L/21R at 8,799 feet the airport is cable of handling the largest of the worlds airlines. Inaugurated in June 1947, today Tocumen International Airport has become a major International player with flights throughout the Caribbean, North America, Central America, South America as well as Europe.
Tocumen International Airport is home to Panama’s Copa Airlines and has 22 gates in two terminals providing modern facilities for the traveling public. A major expansion is in the works for adding new gates and facilities
