Andahuaylas Airport SLA/SPHY, serves Peru’s city of Andahuaylas the capital of the Andahuaylas Province in the south of Peru and is 11 miles from the city center and 30 minute drive to Laguna de Pachucha. A public airport, Andahuaylas Airport was inaugurated in 1964 and today is run by CORPAC SA.

Andahuaylas Airport has become a major entry point for tourist and adventure seekers visiting Andahuaylas, Lake Pachucha and the Chanka citadel of Sonor left over 500 years by the Incas The airport is only open from 5 in the morning till 2 in the afternoon providing service to the 3 daily flights in an out. The tarmac has parking spots for only 2 large aircraft at a time.
Housed in a 1 story terminal, Andahuaylas Airport provides very limited facilities for the traveling public. A restaurant as well as money exchange, car rental and hotel information can be found in the terminal.
